Entrepreneurial Blog#3

This week to did a lot of work regarding Magdalena Yesil and her story. She is quite inspiring in terms of the business world and really goes out of her to be the best and most successful version of herself. In my own life, she was very inspiring to me because of how tenacious she was. She really decided at a young age that she wanted to do something and that was exactly what she did. This reminds me a lot of my girlfriend who decided that she wanted to become a neurosurgeon when she was very little. Under the same circumstances as Magdalena, my girlfriend is going into a very male-dominated industry but she chooses to not let that affect her but rather use that as motivation to do her best and become exactly what she wants to. As time goes on I hope to be able to acquire this sense of determination for myself and my own professional business venture.  We also this week did a personal code of conduct that I found quite interesting. In the assignment, we had to list 3 things t...

Entrepreneurial Blog#2

This week in class we did a cool assignment where we created a list of 50 things that we wanted to do in our lives. I had a hard time with this just due to the sheer amount of ideas that I had to come up with. However, after thinking about and asking around I eventually came up with a list of 50 things that I wanted to get out of my own life. Being kind to myself is always my goal throughout my day. I sometimes can get down on myself for not being too great at certain things and I always try to remember the good in my life and all the other amazing things that I could be thinking about. The acts of kindness to others are also something that I struggle with a bit. I try my best to be kind ...

Entrepreneurial Blog#1

This week was an introduction to the course going into the grading and what we should expect to gain from the class as a whole. One of my favorite things that I ended up learning was how this course was meant as a way to develop my life plan before I go and develop a business plan. In the future, I believe that this is useful advice for just about anything. We need to have a good life plan before going and trying to attempt and do something that we are just not ready for. Taking the time to set up for success is exactly what more of us need to do to have more success in the long run. Something that interested me quite a bit when going through the syllabus is how we will have the opportunity to interview an entrepreneur mentor and come up with 5 different questions to ask them just about anything. However, we should not just be wasting their for me I want to try my best to come up with a group of 5 questions that will benefit me but the mentor will also be interested in and like to answ...
